To ensure a sustainable future for Cat Town, we are replacing the Cat and Floof system with a more balanced reward structure and engaging gameplay. Here’s what you need to know:

1. Disabling Cat Purchases Starting January 1, 2025, cat purchases will be disabled. This change will remain in effect as we prepare for the system migration.

2. Treasury ETH Buyback Treasury ETH will be used to buy back $KIBBLE, which will be distributed over a 6-month period. Your share of the $KIBBLE buyback is proportional to the Cats’ ETH value you hold, excluding those held by players who exited early.

3. Floof Production Effective January 13, 2025, floof production will be discontinued, and the ability to combine or sell floofs will be disabled.

These changes are designed to create a fairer, more sustainable experience for all players.

How to Migrate your Cats

1. In your hideout, you can pickup the phone or click the Choose your Path tab at the top of the screen.

1. As we transition to the new system, you can choose one of two options for your cats:

a. KIBBLE Emissions Receive $KIBBLE emissions equivalent to the ETH value of your cats. For example, if your cats are valued at 0.1 ETH, you’ll be eligible for 0.1 ETH worth of $KIBBLE, distributed over 6 months.

b. Immediate Sale Sell your cats for 50% of their ETH value and receive the amount immediately. The remaining 50% of your cats' ETH value will be retained in the treasury.
