There are lots of different types of cats in Cat Town, each with their own unique look and personality. Once a style of cat is unlocked, you can customise your cat with a different look and even combine it with items to create the perfect passport photo NFT by using the Passport Minter.

How are new cats unlocked?

During an adventure you'll have a small chance to encounter other cats that are on their own journey! Once you become acquainted with a new cat you'll be able to use its appearance for your own cat as long as you hold the relevant NFT within your wallet. Cat appearances are treated much like accessories, but are much rarer and less likely to obtain.

Players will also be able to unlock new cats during limited edition events, such as the launch week soulbound NFT event, or from holding a profile picture NFT from the villagers collection.
