Alongside ETH, KIBBLE is the main currency of Cat Town. It's used to buy cosmetic items for your cat, purchase items that provide a boost on adventures and fund player rewards in Cat Town.

Initially, we locked 86% of the token which resulted in the following allocation: 40M tokens for marketing, game rewards, and 50M for LPs, 50M for presale.
We have been using the marketing and game rewards at a much slower pace than expected and still have 30M tokens left, currently our circulating supply is around 11%.
When the unlock occurs on Oct. 1st 2024, by this date we hope to have established a number of players within our ecosystem that play daily, interact with the game, and hold the token, and also a number of things for these players to do daily and weekly.
We will open a global quest within the game that for every KIBBLE used in any of our minigames, fishing, cooking, crafting, boutique, adventures, all KIBBLE that enters will get matched and burnt by the team from this 760M KIBBLE.
For example, if a fish mint was 150 KIBBLE, the team will match this and burn 150 KIBBLE. The 150 KIBBLE enters the game ecosystem, and 150 disappears forever. The end goal is to increase activity throughout the game, bring awareness to the game as it will be a month long event, and to burn as much KIBBLE as possible.
This gamified burn will then in turn balance the currently reported FDV vs MC significantly as up to 76% of the 1,000,000,000 max supply will be burnt.
Initially, we also allocated 50M tokens for Team Token allocation, however given that we only ever plan to release the currently circulating and make it self sustainable, we have reduced this allocation to 5M and will burn the other 45M when it unlocks in October.

KIBBLE is designed to be deflationary and a store of value for Cat Town. Any time a villager spends KIBBLE in-game it will be burned and removed from the total supply. This essentially transfers the value of the KIBBLE to the item that was purchased with it.
All items that are purchasable will be able to be traded on the open market and will not be soulbound.

When minting a passport profile picture NFT of your in-game cat.
KIBBLE is included as a reward for loyalty in each villager's daily yield calculations. The KIBBLE that is awarded to players is a result of the tax on trading the KIBBLE token on the open market. The more KIBBLE trading (both buying and selling), the higher the in-game rewards for villagers.
