There are two primary resources that villagers need to manage when visiting Cat Town: cats and floofs.
Floofs are the smallest component of a cat. They are sentient furballs.
Cat Town floofs are essential resources and economic mechanics to understand.
You need combine 8,640,000 floofs together to make a cat - the more cats you have, the higher your floof yield per second.
In Cat Town, you'll need to purchase some cats with ETH to get started.
Any cats that you have generate furballs, otherwise known as floofs.
Floofs are a currency in Cat Town – they can either be used to create more cats or be sold for ETH.
The more cats you have the higher your floof yield. And the higher your floof yield, the higher your cat yield.
Floofs can also be sold directly to ETH instead of compounding to create more cats. This is the primary method you will use to realise your yield.
The value of cats and floofs in Cat Town is based on a Positive Slope algorithm -- simply put, the more ETH in the contract balance, the higher the value of the cats and floofs.
The formula for calculating costs can be seen below.
Cats cannot currently be sold, however we plan to allow a player to sell their cats and exit Cat Town's economy by paying a tax
