Reputation System
In Cat Town, you can build your reputation with villagers by taking part in the activities they look after. The more time you spend with a villager, the closer the two of you become.
Who Has Reputation?
You can build reputation with 16 villagers:

How to Earn Reputation
- Take part in the core activities each villager looks after (e.g., fishing with Isabella, shopping with Rosie)
- Join in special events and help out around Cat Town

Open your Phone and tap Villagers to see your total reputation and your current standing with each villager.

What Reputation Unlocks
Reputation gates the fishing rod upgrades. Each rod beyond the Rookie's Rod needs a certain stage with Isabella: the Balanced Reed starts at Acquaintance, and the best rods need Cherished. See Upgrades for every rod and its requirement.

Reputation with each character progresses through 10 stages:
