Overview
The Fish Raffle is a weekly community event where you can trade in your catches for raffle tickets. Each ticket is your chance to win a share of the prize pool, which grows based on the collective participation of all Cat Town anglers.
How It Works
Purchasing Tickets
- When: Purchase tickets during weekdays (Monday through Friday, UTC)
- Cost: 20kg of fish per ticket (current price and may change)
- Free Entry: Everyone receives one free ticket each week, regardless of wether you are a regular Cat Town player
- Currency: Any fish you've caught can be traded in - the heavier the fish, the more valuable!
The Draw
- Timing: Takes place 8pm Friday UTC, just before the weekend fishing tournament begins
- Winners: Multiple winners are possible and the prize pool is divided evenly among all winners
- Closed Period: Submissions close during the weekend, giving you time to gather fish for the next week's raffle
Prize Pool System
The prize pool operates on a progressive leveling system powered by community participation. The more tickets purchased across all players, the higher the level and the bigger the rewards!
How Levels Work
- Each ticket purchase contributes to a shared progress bar
- As the community reaches new thresholds, the prize pool levels up
- Higher levels unlock larger percentage distributions from the free-to-play pool
- Example progression:
- Level 1: 10,000 KIBBLE
- Level 2: 20,000 KIBBLE
- Level 3+: Even greater rewards!
