📝 Register a Referral Code
Got a referral code from a friend or your favorite content creator? Register it in-game to support them while you play! Once you're linked, you both earn 1¢ USDC every time you catch a fish or play the gacha.
How to Register a Referral Code
From a referral link
If a friend sent you a referral link, just open it. When you arrive in Cat Town, Tiny Tony will greet you in the cruise ship lobby and ask whether you'd like to link up with your friend. Choose Yes, that's my friend and you're done!
From your phone
You can also enter a code at any time:
- Open your Phone
- Under Wallet, tap Referrals
- Enter the referral code you received
- Confirm that you understand the link can't be changed, then tap Submit
Choose carefully: linking a referrer is permanent. Once you've registered a code, it can't be changed or removed.
If a code doesn't work, it may be invalid, no longer active, or it may have reached its maximum number of uses.
What Happens When You Use a Code?
When you register a referral code:
- You earn 1¢ USDC per fish you catch and per gacha you play 🎣🎲
- Your referrer earns 1¢ USDC on the same plays
- You play Cat Town exactly the same, with no extra costs or fees
It's a win-win: you support creators you love and earn a little USDC while you play.
Reward Distribution
Rewards are distributed daily at 00:00 UTC. For Pioneers, to be included in a distribution they must have earned at least $1 USDC in pending rewards. If the threshold isn't met, rewards will roll over and accumulate until the next day's distribution.
💡 Tip: Support your favorite content creator by using their referral code! It costs you nothing and helps them earn rewards while you play.
Don't Have a Code?
No worries! You can still play Cat Town and enjoy all the features. If you want to support someone later, you can register a referral code at any time from Phone → Referrals, as long as you haven't linked one already.
